Crocker Reef

Crocker Reef lies just south of Davis off Windley Key and sports a nice medium depth (35-45 feet) build-up with a near wall dropping from 45-95 feet. Large sponges and gorgonians and the occasional sea turtle or shark might be spotted. We were lucky to see a squadron of eagle rays pass through here once, flying through the current with the greatest of ease.

The spanish galleon shipwreck "San Jose" lies at the northern edge of this reef, where it went aground over 265 years ago.
