Miss Karline

The Miss Karlene was sunk in the artificial reef site known as Anchorage, located north of Government Cut and south of Haulover Islet in approximately 51 feet of water.

The Miss Karlene is 85 feet in length, and part of an extensive site where a "Trek Dive" is possible, in-other-words, diving on several wrecks during the same dive. Located within the immediate area are the Patricia, Police Barge and Radio Antennas as well as several Rock Piles. The Mathew Lawrence Memorial and Army tanks are not far away, either.

The Miss Karlene was sunk in 1989, so she is full of interesting growth. Fish life is prolific in this area because of the multitudes and variety of structures on the bottom. This area was once just sand, and has been altered into a wonderful location just waiting to be explored. Because of the relatively shallow depths, you have an extended amount of bottom time
