Suzanne's Reef

Suzanne's Reef is located on the first reef line which runs parallel to shore in this area. It is located about half a mile from shore and about three-quarters of a mile north of the Pompano Beach Pier.

The ledge is about 10 to 20 feet in depth with about five feet of relief.

There are lots of small nooks and crannies, perfect for lobster to hide in. You may see an occasional moray eel sticking its head out. There can be good shelling on the inside of the reef ledge in the sand flats, especially after some of the winter storms which bring strong northeast winds.
